Walkie talkies are mainly used in public security, civil aviation, transportation, water conservancy, railway, manufacturing, construction, service and other industries for liaison, command and dispatching among group members, so as to improve communication efficiency and rapid response ability to deal with emergencies. With the walkie talkie entering the civil market, people begin to use walkie talkie more and more when traveling and shopping.

Routine maintenance of walkie talkie

1. After long-term use of the walkie talkie, press the key, the control knob and the casing are easy to get dirty. Please remove the control knob from the walkie talkie and clean the casing with neutral lotion (do not use strong corrosive chemicals) and wet cloth. The use of chemicals such as decontamination agents, alcohol, aerosols or petroleum preparations may cause damage to the surface and shell of walkie talkie.

2. Handle the walkie talkie with care. Do not carry the antenna mobile walkie talkie.

3. When accessories are not applicable, cover the dust cover (if equipped).

Safety precautions for use of walkie talkie

1. On vehicles with airbags, do not put the walkie talkie within the range that may be involved when the airbags are deployed. If the walkie talkie is in the area that may be involved when the airbag is deployed, once the airbag is deployed rapidly, the walkie talkie may hurt the personnel in the vehicle with great impact.

2. In the atmospheric environment or occasion with potential explosion, the walkie talkie must be turned off unless it is specially certified. In potentially explosive atmospheres, electric sparks can cause explosions or fires.

3. Do not replace or charge the battery in a potentially explosive atmosphere. When installing and removing the battery, it may cause contact with electric sparks and cause explosion.

4. Before approaching the blasting area and the area where the detonator is located, the walkie talkie must be turned off to avoid possible explosion.

Precautions for interphone operation

1. When the walkie talkie is transmitting, keep the walkie talkie in a vertical position and keep the microphone 2.5-5cm away from the mouth. When launching, the walkie talkie shall be at least 2.5cm away from the head or body. If the handheld walkie talkie is carried on the body, the antenna shall be at least 2.5cm away from the human body during transmission.

2. Do not turn on and off multiple times during use, and adjust the volume to the volume suitable for your hearing.

Precautions for battery use

1. Use original or approved batteries.

2. If metal conductors such as jewelry, keys or beads touch the bare electrodes of the battery, all batteries may cause damage or personal injury. Please be careful with the charged battery, especially when it is put into a pocket, wallet or other metal container.

3. The charging shall be carried out in an environment of 5 ~ 40 degrees. If this temperature range is exceeded, the battery life will be affected and the rated capacity may be insufficient.

Precautions for antenna use

1. Use only original or approved antennas. Unauthorized antenna, modified antenna or antenna with accessories may damage the walkie talkie or violate the regulations of the radio administration of the Ministry of information industry.

2. When in use, do not hold the antenna with your hand.

3. The Interphone Antenna cannot be unscrewed, otherwise it is easy to burn out the power tube during transmission.

4. Do not use a damaged antenna. During transmission, if the damaged antenna contacts the skin, it may cause slight burns.
